Today is January 12th. It is 62 degrees outside, and the kids are wearing short-sleeves while playing in the backyard. This type of January 12th doesn't happen too often around here.
Notice the two-tone Christmas tree pile. The bottom tree (our original tree) was cut directly from a field. The top tree, while still a "live" tree, was bought from a local store who used various methods to preserve its trees before selling them. Somehow I don't think it will ever turn brown.
Tomorrow I'll resume with pictures taken last month.
